Teens’ Top Ten Nominations Announced!

Today is Support Teen Literature Day!  Did you know teen literature had so much to offer with great authors and awesome books? Of course you did or you would be here! Be sure to pass your great knowledge to your friends who need to know!

Each year on Support Teen Literature Day, YALSA (Young Adult Library Services Association) launches the Teen Read Week website and announces the Teens’ Top Ten nominations.

Earlier today, YALSA announced the nominated titles for the 2011 Teens’ Top Ten. Between August and September, teens around the country will be able to vote for their favorite books on this list and the ten most popular will be announced during Teen Read Week, October 16-22.

How many books from the list have you read?  Check out the ones we have at the library and get on hold it you need to!
