Recommendation.
Amulet: The Stonekeeper’s Curse is an ideal book for graphic novel readers who enjoy adventure especially 5th-8th grade students.  It’s fun and never scary or vulgar.

Summary.
Emily and Navin begin their journey to Kanalis in the hopes of finding an antidote to save their mother.

Review.
I enjoyed this book a lot.  It has more action than the first book, which is great.  I also love how beautifully the city of Kanalis and its citizen are illustrated.
Likes.
·      I love the introduction of the new character, Leon the Redbeard.  I like him, even though I’m not sure if we should just him yet.
·      I like that we got more background on the Amulet and the Stones.
·      I love Miskit and how loyal he is to Emily and her grandfather.
Dislikes.
·      The Elves are super evil; I’m used to evils being good guys.
·      I hate that I have to wait to read the next one.
